Second Announcement
Interaction of Highly Charged Ions on Surfaces
and their Industrial Applications
This workshop aims to gather scientists
working in the field of the interaction of highly charged ions with surfaces
and microelectronic and nanotechnology manufacturers. The first two days of
this meeting( Saturday and Sunday) will be devoted to
presentations and discussions between the members of the network. On
Monday the meeting will be open to participants coming from industry. There
will be few review talks given by members of the network, summarizing the main
features of the interaction of highly charged ions with surfaces, and general
lectures given by scientists and engineers coming from R&D laboratories and
industry. A panel session will end the meeting.

The hotel is facing the park of the Château de Versailles, halfway between the
main entrance of the Château and the Petit Trianon
(15minute’s walk).There are many ways to get from various places in Paris
downtown to Versailles and many railway or RER stations in Versailles. The
shortest way to get to the hotel from downtown Paris is by train( SNCF at Gare Saint Lazare, direction
Versailles-Rive Droite-25minutes- and then 10min walk to Place de La Loi, or by bus).Please click here for more details
Fees and accommodation
The fees are 260 €. They include the opening buffet, coffee breaks, lunches and
diners. The fees must be paid only by checks (no credit cards), prior to the
workshop (the order will be given in the third announcement), or upon arrival
at the secretariat desk of the meeting. A limited number of rooms has been reserved at the hotel at a discount rate of 92 €
per night (taxes and breakfast included). You are requested to pay your room
directly at the hotel.
